ABEL Custom Build and Design should be everyone’s go to contractor for custom builds or renovations. We had kitchen renovations and painting as well as interior decorating done by Jodi Abel. Josh and Jodi walked us through the whole process, helping with the selection of colors, countertops, cupboards and ceiling design. They completed tasks when they said they would be completed. Honestly could not be happier with our renovations. Jodi’s an amazing interior decorator as well. She did my “she shed” room and it looks amazing.

We had ABEL Custom Building and Design do several outdoor projects for us, as well as some interior renovations, and were extremely pleased with the results. Our projects included an outdoor patio area that ABEL built exactly how we wanted it, and renovating a guest bathroom. We could not be more pleased and impressed with ABEL- their work is high quality and they communicated very well with us throughout the entire process.. They showed up when they said they would, and left the job site clean. Highly recommend ABEL for any build, renovation, or upgrade project.

My husband and I wanted a grilling station and a tongue and groove ceiling installed on back covered patio. Josh Abel came to our home at the time he stated and we spent time explaining what we wanted. Josh was very receptive to our plans and even offer some suggestions that were in line with what we were looking forward to. We accepted Josh's bid and he kept us informed of the status everyday including when material and his crews would be at our home. He matched the brick perfectly to our home, and when it came time for the granite, he suggested two different companies that he dealt with and they also were very cooperative with what I wanted. During the entire process Josh and his crews were very polite, professional and informative on a daily basis. We would have no second thoughts of hiring Josh and his company to handle any and all improvements to our home in the future. Great company to deal with and more importantly a great person to deal with any remodeling project to our home. I look forward to coming up with more ideas, but don't tell my husband.

Abel Custom Build and Design did amazing on our new home!!! Josh, owner, was on top of every single thing! Even after building the house we had some hail damage and he took care of everything! He is great at communicating with us and answering all of our questions- and we had A LOT as first-time home owners. He was there helping us anytime we needed, and there were many nights he was there WAY past business hours! Josh and his crew did a major remodel on our 4300 square-foot home. From start to finish everything was done with the greatest of care and the quality was unbelievable. Upon project completions in the past I always have minor complaints or things they have to come back and fix (and we’ve been through a LOT of renovations) but I have no complaints with Josh and his team. Josh and his team did an amazing job on the remodel of our master bathroom. He made sure everything came out exactly as I wanted and that everything was to perfection. The remodel made our small bathroom feel 10 times larger and even added some much needed storage space. The whole demo and construction was handled professionally and was the best experience I have ever had with construction services. After & before photos included.

We needed a renovation in our home, that was too complicated for a normal contractor: including electrical, trim work, tongue & groove on the two exterior porches, demo, floor tile work, shelving, then final painting. The owner, Josh Abel, came out to give us an estimate. His work was so professional. He coordinated the trim subcontractor, who literally had decades of experience. Sub-Contractor after sub, it all came together quickly, with oversight from Josh. He also did our neighbor’s outdoor kitchen. It looks spectacular! I would recommend Able Custom Build with no reservations whatsoever!

Josh Abel by far has been the best experience for getting some much needed house projects done. Josh is professional and the craftsmanship was outstanding. His team did amazing work on rebuilding our indoor fireplace and redoing the kitchen island. Also painting the entire exterior house. It was stress free and I didn’t have to worry about checking in on the project. Josh took care of everything. I will be using Josh for every project I have at the house now and in the future. We used Josh Abel for new construction on an outside Pergola along with a remodel project inside our home. Josh stressed “Communication” as a trait he focussed on, which in large part is why he and his company were selected. He did not disappoint as it relates to communication; he makes himself very accessible. Josh was on time when he said he would arrive and was on the job every day. He appears to have a good rapport with the trades he uses and is loyal to. As with every project, things happen and when something was not right, Josh had no problem saying, “we will get that fixed.” There were even areas on the architectural plans that Josh questioned, which some warranted an on the fly change. We trusted Josh fully. He was given a key to our home and had full access, although he was always respectful and communicated before entry. He kept the place clean and expected the same from the trades used. I would use Josh Abel again.
